It was fun to see kindergartners with Mr. Malone during PE with the giant parachute! #kindercuteness
It is incredible to see how much progress Mrs. Bonta's TK's are making with reading and counting. Mrs. Bonta has a great math wall with many different objects grouped in 100's.
Mrs. Robbins 1st grade class had the opportunity to use popsicle sticks and beans to understand place value. The popsicle sticks were tens and the beans were ones. It was a great way to see how students take their understanding of place value and apply it to adding and subtracting, as well as the number line to 100.
Ms. Werle's 2nd grade class is doing some really dynamic math centers. Students have the opportunity to work independently on math facts, with partners on different types of math games that focus on place value, and in a small group with Ms. Werle to understand comparing numbers, adding and subtracting numbers, and measurement.
And last, but not least, Mrs. Brown's class is getting ready for their class play!
