Hi! My name is Daniela Doughty! I have taught at Olivet since Fall of 2016 and truly believe it is the most perfect school for me! I love our small country school, our friendly and supportive staff members, and our fabulous families and community.
I am from San Diego, CA and love to go back and visit my family during school breaks. I attended Sonoma State University where I received my bachelors in Sociology. I then went on to receive my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from San Diego State University. I decided to head back north to Sonoma County to teach at Olivet! I have since started my family up here with my husband and we have a beautiful daughter named Maya!
I am very passionate about teaching children how to be confident in themselves and learn positive ways to deal with big emotions! I love incorporating art, movement, and hands-on experiences to my lessons! My favorite part of this job is growing connections and pushing students to be the best version of themselves they can be!
